STATUS RESOURCEMANAGER
STATUS RESOURCEMANAGER
The STATUS RESOURCEMANAGER command displays the current status of both
recoverable and volatile resource managers.
rm-name
is the name of the resource manager whose status is to be displayed. This name
can contain a maximum of 128 characters; the first character must be a letter, and
the others can be alphanumeric or any of the following special characters:
$ _ - ^ @ &
Unlike the ADD RESOURCEMANAGER, CLOSE RESOURCEMANAGER,
DELETE RESOURCEMANAGER, and INFO RESOURCEMANAGER commands,
the STATUS RESOURCEMANAGER command permits rm-name values that
begin with the ZZ-VOLATILE- character string. In fact, this string is used when
requesting the status of volatile resource managers. This string reflects a name
assigned by TMF rather than by a user or gateway process.
Names containing adjoining hyphens (--) are not allowed, although names using
multiple hyphens separated by one or more intervening characters are legal.
(TMFCOM interprets two consecutive hyphens as the start of a comment.) Thus,
the name “ALPHA--1” is not permitted, but “ALPHA-N-1” is allowed.
*
displays the entries for all recoverable and volatile resource managers currently in
the system, selected according to the STATE and PROCESS specifications if they
are present. If you do not specify a resource manager name, this action is the
default.
