Message Descriptions
142
Cause. A STATUS OPERATIONS command that included the BEGINTIME parameter
also referred to a specific TMF operation. When BEGINTIME is included, however, the
command must specify the wild-card (*) character rather than a particular operation
number. BEGINTIME then acts as a filter to display all operations that began at or
after the time indicated.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command, substituting the wild-card character in place of the
operation number.
143
file-set
is the file-set specified with invalid syntax.
Cause. The command specified a file-set, but did not follow the syntax rules for
identifying file-sets.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Check the syntax rules for file-set names, and re-enter the command using
the proper syntax.
144
Cause. A CANCEL OPERATIONS command attempted to cancel an operation that
was not a file-recovery or dump-files operation. However, this command can only be
used for those two types of operation.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Use the STATUS OPERATIONS command to display the current
operations and their types. Then, re-enter the CANCEL OPERATIONS command,
specifying an operation whose type is listed as either Recoveries or DumpFiles.
A STATUS OPERATIONS command that specified the BEGINTIME
parameter also specified an operation number.
The command specified file-set file-set, using invalid
syntax.
A CANCEL OPERATIONS command attempted to cancel a TMF
operation other than a file-recovery or dump-files operation.
