Cause. The command attempted to configure a master audit trail with the
AUDITDUMP option set to OFF, but this option is set to ON for the auxiliary audit trail
(or trails). This option must be consistent for all audit trails.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Reset the AUDITDUMP option to ON for the master audit trail, and then re-
enter the command. Or, re-enter the command with the AUDITDUMP option for the
auxiliary audit trail set to OFF.
360
Cause. An ADD AUDITTRAIL or ALTER AUDITTRAIL command would result in
defining only one audit-trail file in the TMF system, but at least two are required. To
determine the number of audit-trail files specified, multiply the value given in the
FILESPERVOLUME parameter of the command by the number of active-audit volumes
currently defined.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command, increasing the value of FILESPERVOLUME.
Alternatively, add more active-audit volumes and then re-enter the command with the
previous value.
361
Cause. The command attempted to modify the TMF configuration but requires TMF to
be running to take effect.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Enter (or ask your system manager to enter) the START TMF command to
activate TMF. Then, re-enter the previous command.
AUDITDUMP could not be set to OFF for the master audit trail
because auxiliary audit trails were configured with AUDITDUMP
ON.
There must be at least two active audit trail files, but this
command would result in only one. (The number of audit trail
files equals FILESPERVOLUME times the number of active audit
volumes.)
Before issuing this command, you must first start TMF.
