Message Descriptions
370
Cause. A TMF error occurred.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. This message should never appear. Make a note of the command
entered and the circumstances. Then, contact the GCSC or your service provider.
371
Cause. The command attempted to modify the TMF configuration but cannot take
effect because TMF is neither started nor in the process of stopping.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Enter (or ask your system manager to enter) the START TMF command to
activate TMF. Then, re-enter the previous command.
372
Cause. The command specified setting the AUDITDUMP parameter to OFF
(preventing audit dumping), but this parameter must remain ON because the
RECOVERYMODE option is set to ARCHIVE (indicating that audit-trail files are not
retained on disk for recovery purposes). AUDITDUMP ON permits audit dumping to
take place.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command with AUDITDUMP set to ON, or change the
RECOVERYMODE attribute to ONLINE for all data volumes using this audit trail.
Subsystem Error: The backup TMP could not handle the request.
This command requires that TMF is either started or in the
process of stopping.
AUDITDUMP cannot be turned OFF because at least one DATAVOL
is configured to use the audittrail with RECOVERYMODE
ARCHIVE; therefore AUDITDUMP must be ON.
