ABORT TRANSACTION
Examples
In the following example, the STATUS TRANSACTION command indicates that the
transaction identified as \TSII.2.1958908 is active:
TMF 12> STATUS TRANSACTION
Transaction Identifier Process State Parent Children
---------------------- ------- ----- ------ --------
\TSII.2.1958908 (2,118) active
\TSII.2.1968200 (2,118) active
The ABORT TRANSACTION command, followed by the Y response to the confirm
prompt, aborts that transaction:
TMF 15> ABORT TRANSACTION \TSII.2.1958908
Transaction Identifier Process State Parent Children
---------------------- ------- ----- ------ --------
\TSII.2.1958908 (2,118) active
Confirm: y
The next STATUS TRANSACTION command verifies that the transaction, in fact, was
aborted:
TMF 18> STATUS TRANSACTION
Transaction Identifier Process State Parent Children
---------------------- ------- ----- ------ --------
\TSII.2.1968200 (2,118) active
