Message Descriptions
7022
Cause. An ADD TAPEMEDIA, ALTER TAPEMEDIA, INFO TAPEMEDIA, or SET
TAPEMEDIA command did not specify a correct tape status where TMFCOM expected
one of the following: ASSIGNED, BAD, RELEASED, or SCRATCH.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Check the syntax rules for the command and re-enter it correctly.
7023
Cause. An ADD DUMPS or SET DUMPS command did not specify a valid part
number in the TAPEMEDIA parameter, indicating which part of the dump should be
stored on the volume. This value must be a number greater than zero.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command, specifying a valid dump part number.
7024
Cause. A command parameter included a beginning quote mark, but omitted the
closing quote mark, in a subparameter.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Check the syntax rules for the command. Then, re-enter the command,
including the final quote.
7025
Cause. The command contained an illegal character.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Check the syntax rules for the command. Then, re-enter the command,
using legal characters only.
Expecting ASSIGNED, BAD, RELEASED, or SCRATCH.
Expecting TAPEMEDIA part number; value must be greater than
zero.
Missing final quote.
Illegal character.
