CLOSE RESOURCEMANAGER
CLOSE RESOURCEMANAGER
Forces closure of one or more recoverable resource managers that are currently open
by a gateway process.
Security: super user group member.
CMDVOL
Specifies the default volume and subvolume names for expanding unqualified file
names other than those in OBEY commands.
Security: any user.
DELETE CATALOG
Clears from the TMF catalog all online dump, audit dump, and media entries, and
resets to 64 the counter used for assigning dump serial numbers.
Security: Logon under super ID (user ID 255,255).
DELETE DATAVOLS
Removes one or more data volumes from the TMF configuration.
Security: super user group member.

Caution. Use extreme caution when entering the DELETE CATALOG command, because this
command removes TMF’s ability to recover your database from previously dumped files.

Caution. After a data volume has been deleted with ALLOWINCONSISTENCY selected,
volume recovery cannot return it to a consistent state.
