ALTER AUDITDUMP
If the UNLOAD option is OFF, the tape is not unloaded after it is verified.
If tape verification fails, an error message appears, the audit dump terminates,
and the audit dump copy is marked invalid in the catalog. Tape verification
approximately doubles the time needed for an audit dump.
The originally assigned default is VERIFYTAPE OFF.
UNLOAD
for dumps to tape, determines whether the tape is unloaded after it is written.
ON
unloads the tape after the dump is written and the tape is rewound.
OFF
suppresses unloading, so that the tape is rewound but not dismounted
(unloaded).
The originally assigned default is UNLOAD ON.
MEDIUM
determines the medium on which the audit dump is recorded:
TAPE
indicates a tape drive.
DISK
indicates a disk volume.
If ADDDISKMEDIA or DELDISKMEDIA is specified, MEDIUM DISK must also be
specified.
The originally assigned default is TAPE.
RESET MEDIUM
deletes all disk media previously configured through the ADDDISKMEDIA option,
clears the list of disks established by this option for dumping to disk, and resets the
dump medium to the originally assigned default, which is dump to tape.
ADDDISKMEDIA
adds to the audit dump process configuration individual disk volumes that can
serve as the destination for audit dumps. At any particular time, up to 16, each
specified in disk, can be configured for the process; an attempt to add a
seventeenth, however, results in an error.
