ALTER AUDITDUMP
DELDISKMEDIA
deletes individual disk volumes from the configuration. The optional and required
syntax items and the naming conventions for the prefix are the same as those for
ADDDISKMEDIA.
Security Restrictions
You can issue the ALTER AUDITDUMP command only if you are a member of the
super user group.
TMF State Requirement
You can enter the ALTER AUDITDUMP command at any time, whether or not TMF has
been started.
Usage Guidelines
The ALTER AUDITDUMP command is only used to change the attribute values of the
audit dump process, initially set to default values if the AUDITDUMP ON option was
specified in the ADD AUDITTRAIL command. Whether or not audit trails are actually
dumped is determined by the setting of the AUDITDUMP option in the ADD
AUDITTRAIL command, and by any changes made to the audit dump process
attributes in the ALTER AUDITTRAIL, SET AUDITTRAIL, or RESET AUDITTRAIL
commands.
The attributes you change take effect when the next audit dump process starts.
Note. The following ALTER AUDITDUMP parameters are only valid when the MEDIUM
parameter is set to TAPE or is omitted altogether:
BLOCKSIZE
RESET BLOCKSIZE
COPIES
RESET COPIES
SYSTEM
RESET SYSTEM
VERIFYTAPE
UNLOAD
The ADDDISKMEDIA and DELDISKMEDIA parameters are only valid when MEDIUM is
DISK.
