ALTER AUDITTRAIL
RESET FILESPERVOLUME
resets the FILESPERVOLUME attribute to the originally assigned default, which
is 5.
ADDOVERFLOWVOL[S]
DELETEOVERFLOWVOL[S]
adds or deletes overflow-audit volumes.
If you specify DELETEOVERFLOWVOL for a volume that contains an overflow-
audit file, the volume is marked as “deleting” until the overflow-audit file is no
longer needed.
OVERFLOWTHRESHOLD integer
specifies the percentage of audit trail capacity in use above which TMF begins
overflow copying. This is an optional parameter. The minimum value is 50, and
the maximum is 100. The originally assigned default is 80(%).
RESET OVERFLOWTHRESHOLD
resets the OVERFLOWTHRESHOLD attribute to the originally assigned default,
which is 80(%).
ADDRESTOREVOL[S]
DELETERESTOREVOL[S]
adds or deletes restore-audit volumes used during execution of a RECOVER
FILES command. At least one restore-audit volume must be configured for each
audit trail that has audit dumping configured. You can configure a maximum of 16
restore-audit volumes.
If you specify DELETERESTOREVOL for a volume that is being used as a restore
location, the restore operation continues until it successfully completes and the
restore-audit volume is marked as “deleting” until the volume is no longer needed
for this operation.
If AUDITDUMP ON is specified, or if AUDITDUMP is already ON and has not been
altered, you cannot delete the last restore-audit volume configured.
MAXRETAINEDATFILES integer
specifies the maximum number of restored audit-trail files to retain on disk in
restore-audit volumes for the specified audit trail after the restored audit-trail files
are no longer needed by a recovery process. This option applies to files restored
from tape only. The minimum value is 1, and the maximum is 9999. The originally
assigned default is 0 (no files are retained).
RESET MAXRETAINEDATFILES
resets the MAXRETAINEDATEFILES attribute to the originally assigned default,
which is 0.
