ALTER TMF describes the ATFORMAT option that supports large audit-trail
files, and discusses the following options for performance-tuning operations
previously available only through SNOOP: TRANSACTIONPROTOCOL,
RESET TRANSACTIONPROTOCOL, GOREMOTE, RESET GOREMOTE,
PIOBUFFER, RESET PIOBUFFER, TMPWAITTIMER, and RESET
TMPWAITTIMER. Finally, this discussion presents new command examples.

DUMP FILES introduces the new <file-name > and NOT <file-name >
specifiers that each identify an Edit-format or C-data file that contains one or
more file-name patterns. These patterns, in turn, designate files to be dumped
(or not dumped) to tape or disk. This discussion also slightly revises the
BLOCKSIZE option information and corrects information about the UNLOAD
option default value. Finally, this discussion adds a new command example.

INFO AUDITTRAIL explains the COMMITHOLDMODE and
COMMITHOLDTIMER fields that provide information about the new commit-
hold feature for audit trails. This discussion also presents new command
examples.
