Heading or Item Description
TRANSCOUNTTHRESH Upper and lower limits at which number of active
transactions in the system automatically disables or
reenables new transactions.
TMFLIBMEMTHRESH Upper and lower limits at which percentage of processor
memory allocated to TMFLIB automatically disables or
reenables new transactions.
TMPMEMTHRESH Upper and lower limits at which percentage of processor
memory allocated to the TMP automatically disables or
reenables new transactions.
TRANSPERCPU Number of transactions that can run in all processors.
AUTOABORT Duration after which all transactions are aborted
automatically.
RECRMCOUNT Maximum number of recoverable resource managers that
can be registered for the entire TMF system (spanning a
single EXPAND node).
RMOPENPERCPU Maximum number of resource managers, both recoverable
and volatile, that can be open for each processor.
BRANCHESPERRM Maximum number of transaction branches that can be
concurrently imported or exported by each recoverable or
volatile resource manager.
Note. The RECRMCOUNT, RMOPENPERCPU, and BRANCHESPERRM values apply to
resource managers, which support heterogeneous transaction processing. Resource
managers are used in products such as NonStop TUXEDO. Although TMFCOM and the
TMFSERVE programmatic interface provide TMF commands and options for operating on
resource managers, system managers who use them do so in the context of issues involving
multiple software subsystems and inter-platform considerations. Complete discussion of
heterogeneous transaction processing and the context in which resource-manager commands
and options are used lies beyond the scope of the TMF manual library.
For more information about heterogeneous transaction processing, see the Open Group
