is the invalid file name.
Cause. The command specified an invalid file name in the START parameter used to
indicate the file at which an online dump begins in the specified volume and
subvolume. Perhaps the name was too long or contained improper characters.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Verify that the file name complies with the syntax rules listed in File Names
and Process Identifiers on page 3-6. Then, re-enter the command with a valid file
name.

Cause. The command specified an invalid number in the SERIES option of the
COPIES parameter used to indicate the number of dump copies to be produced in
serial order. This option produces dump copies one at a time, using a single tape
drive. You can specify only 1, 2, or 3 copies in series.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command, specifying 1, 2, or 3 copies only.

Cause. The command specified an invalid VERIFYTAPE parameter used to determine
whether tape verification is performed after a dump to tape takes place. You must
specify either ON (to verify tape-record checksums, record sequence numbers, and
tape format), or OFF (to suppress verification).
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command, specifying either ON or OFF in the VERIFYTAPE
parameter.
The command specified an invalid START file name, filename.
The command specified an invalid SERIES value in the COPIES
parameter.
The command specified an invalid VERIFYTAPE parameter.
