Message Descriptions
353
timer
is the timer value specified in the ALTER BEGINTRANS command.
Cause. The ALTER BEGINTRANS command attempted to set the autoabort timer to a
value below the disconnect timer value, after the disconnect timer value was changed
from its default setting.
Effect. The command fails; no values are changed.
Recovery. Use the INFODISCONNECTTMR command in SNOOP to determine the
current value of the disconnect timer. Then, either use TMFCOM to re-enter the
ALTER BEGINTRANS command with an AUTOABORT value greater than or equal to
the current disconnect timer value, or use SNOOP to lower the disconnect timer value
and then use TMFCOM to re-enter the ALTER BEGINTRANS command with the same
AUTOABORT value entered previously.
354
fserrcode
supplies a numeric code that further defines the error and identifies the subsystem
that transmitted this code as the File System.
Cause. A File System error occurred.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Make a note of the command entered and the information supplied in
fserrcode, and check the state of TMF. If TMF is still operational, re-enter the
command. If TMF has crashed, however, contact the GCSC or your service provider.
The ALTER BEGINTRANS, AUTOABORT timer command failed because
the autoabort timer value cannot be less than the disconnect
timer value. Use the INFODISCONNECTTMR command in SNOOP to
determine the disconnect timer value
File System Error: TMFSERVE could not communicate with the
TMP because of File System error fserrcode.
