Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command specified a COMMITHOLDTIMER setting
before the commit-hold condition was turned on.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Enter an ALTER AUDITTRAIL command to set COMMITHOLDMODE ON.
Then, enter an ALTER AUDITTRAIL command to specify the COMMITHOLDTIMER
value desired.

Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command specified the SUSPEND option, but the
COMMITHOLD status was neither ACTIVATED nor REVIVING for any audit trail.
COMMITHOLD status must be ACTIVATED or REVIVING for at least one audit trail
before you can use the SUSPEND option.
Effect. None.
Recovery. Informative message only; no corrective action is needed.

volume
is the name of the audit-trail volume specified in the command.
Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command tried to set COMMITHOLDMODE ON for
an audit trail on a volume that does not support the COMMITHOLDMODE option.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Investigate to determine why this volume does not support
COMMITHOLDMODE, or re-enter the command for another audit trail.
The COMMITHOLDMODE has to be ON before the COMMITHOLDTIMER
option can be specified for the MAT.
The CommitHoldMode SUSPEND option can only be used when at
least one audit trail is currently in the ACTIVATED or
REVIVING COMMITHOLD state.
Audit volume volume cannot support CommitHoldMode ON
processing.
