671
Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command specified RESET COMMITHOLDMODE
for the master audit trail before RESET COMMITHOLDMODE was performed for all
auxiliary audit trails.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Enter one or more ALTER AUDITTRAIL commands to request RESET
COMMITHOLDMODE for all auxiliary audit trails. Then, enter an ALTER AUDITTRAIL
command to request this action for the master audit trail.
672
Cause. You entered a command that cannot be processed while
COMMITHOLDMODE is ON and the commit-hold condition is activated or suspended.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. There are two possible ways to recover from this condition:
•
Wait for the problem that activated commit-hold to be resolved. Commit-hold will
then fall out of activated status and the command may be re-entered.
•
Set commit-hold mode to OFF, and re-enter the command.
673
Cause. You entered a command that required the TMP to write information to the
audit trail. However, because commit-hold is activated and not suspended, TMF
rejected the command.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. There are two possible ways to recover from this condition:
•
Wait for the problem that activated commit-hold to be resolved. Commit-hold will
then fall out of activated status and the command may be re-entered.
•
Set commit-hold mode to OFF or SUSPEND, and re-enter the command.
The COMMITHOLDMODE cannot be RESET for the master audit trail
before it is RESET for all auxiliary trails.
The CommitHoldMode is already ON for this trail. This
command is not allowed while CommitHold is Activated or
Suspended.
The command cannot be performed because CommitHold is
Activated and is not Suspended.
