Message Descriptions

Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command did not specify either SUSPEND or
CRASH in the ON TIMEOUT clause.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Check the syntax rules for the command and re-enter it.

Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command specified the COMMITHOLDTIMER or
COMMITHOLDMODE SUSPEND option for an auxiliary audit trail, but these options
can only apply to the master audit trail.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command with the COMMITHOLDTIMER or
COMMITHOLDMODE SUSPEND option, but specifying the master audit trail.

Cause. An ALTER AUDITTRAIL command specified the COMMITHOLDMODE or
COMMITHOLDTIMER option, but included other options as well. However, the
command cannot include COMMITHOLDMODE or COMMITHOLDTIMER when other
options, such as MAXRETAINEDATFILES or FILESIZE, are specified.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Re-enter the command with the COMMITHOLDMODE or
COMMITHOLDTIMER option, but omitting all other options.
Expecting one of SUSPEND or CRASH.
COMMITHOLDTIMER or COMMITHOLDMODE SUSPEND may only be
specified for the MASTER audit trail.
COMMITHOLDMODE and COMMITHOLDTIMER may not be specified with
other options.
