Effect

The START TMF operation is terminated. TMF does not start.

Recommended Action

If the audit read exception is ZTMF-VAL-ARExcp-Format2File or ZTMF-VAL-ARExcp-

Format2Rec, it means that the current version of TMF supports only Format 1 audit

trail files and that the TMP encountered a Format 2 file or record. In either case, delete

TMF (which deletes all audit trail files, including the Format 2 file or record), and then

restart this version of TMF.

For all other audit read exceptions, try to correct the problem identified in the

message and restart TMF. If the problem persists, contact

your service provider

and provide all relevant information as follows:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms

•

Details from the message(s) generated

•

Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace

files, and a CPU dump, if applicable
