INFO AUDITTRAIL (Pages 3-152 through 3-155)
TMF State Requirement
You can enter the INFO AUDITTRAIL command at any time, whether or not TMF has
been started.
Usage Guideline
The INFO AUDITTRAIL command displays a subset of the information presented by
the INFO TMF command.
Output Displayed
The INFO AUDITTRAIL command displays the attributes configured for the audit trails
by ADD AUDITTRAIL and ALTER AUDITTRAIL commands entered previously. The
primary items in the display are listed in Table 5-1.

Heading or Item Description
Master/Auxnn Configuration Audit trail for which information is displayed.
ActiveVols Active-audit volumes on which active-audit trail is stored.
Subvolume Subvolume in which audit trail is stored (always ZTMFAT).
Prefix Prefix used in audit trail identifier; TMF assigns the prefix
AA to MAT files and the prefixes BB through PP to files in
each of the auxiliary audit trails.
filesize Size of the audit-trail files, in megabytes.
filespervolume Number of files in audit trail that reside on each active-audit
volume configured.
auditdump on/off Indication of whether audit dumping is performed for audit
trail.
overflowthreshold Percentage of active-audit trail capacity above which TMF
begins overflow copying.
begintransedisable Percentage of active-audit trail capacity that can be
consumed before new transactions are disabled.
MaxRetainedATFiles Maximum number of audit-trail files to be retained on
restore-audit volumes indefinitely after recovery processes
no longer need them.
OverflowVols Volumes used for overflow copying.
RestoreVols Volumes used when restoring audit dumps with RECOVER
FILES command.
