RESET AUDITTRAIL (Pages 3-219 through 3-221)
RESET AUDITTRAIL
(Pages 3-219 through 3-221)
The RESET AUDITTRAIL command resets audit trail attributes to their default values,
canceling the effects of any previous SET AUDITTRAIL commands. Values changed
by RESET AUDITTRAIL are local to your current session and only apply to ADD
AUDITTRAIL commands subsequently issued within this session.
AUDITDUMP
resets the AUDITDUMP attribute to ON, so that dumping takes place.
FILESIZE
resets the FILESIZE attribute to one of the following defaults:
For format 1 files, 100 (resulting in files of 100 MB each).
For format 2 files, 1024 (resulting in files of 1024 MB each).
ACTIVEVOL[S]
removes any ACTIVEVOL[S] specification; thus, no active-audit volumes are
identified to hold the audit trail. Because active-audit volumes are required for the
audit trail configuration, you must specify the active-audit volumes in the
ACTIVEVOL[S] parameter of a new ADD AUDITTRAIL or SET AUDITTRAIL
command.
FILESPERVOLUME
resets the FILESPERVOLUME attribute to 5, denoting that each active-audit
volume configured on disk can hold five audit-trail files.
OVERFLOWVOL[S]
removes any OVERFLOWVOL[S] specification; thus, no overflow-audit volumes
are identified to hold the overflow. This attribute is not required and has no default.
However, if you do not specify an overflow-audit volume in the OVERFLOWVOL[S]
RESET AUDITTRAIL {attribute [,attribute]...}
