SET AUDITTRAIL (Pages 3-232 through 3-235)
SET AUDITTRAIL
(Pages 3-232 through 3-235)
The SET AUDITTRAIL command establishes attribute values for audit trails created by
subsequent ADD AUDITTRAIL commands issued during the same TMFCOM session.
AUDITDUMP {ON | OFF}
determines whether audit dumping is performed for the audit trail. ON specifies
that audit dumping takes place, and OFF prevents audit dumping. The default is
ON.
If AUDITDUMP is ON, after you enter the ADD AUDITTRAIL command, use the
ALTER AUDITDUMP command to modify the parameters relating to audit
dumping. Unless you issue an ALTER AUDITDUMP command, the attributes of
the audit dump process default to the following values:
BLOCKSIZE, the tape data block length: 28 (x 1024 bytes)
COPIES, the number of copies to be made in series or in parallel of each
dump: 1 parallel
SYSTEM, the node (system) on which tape copies are made: the local node
VERIFYTAPE, the tape-verification selection: OFF
UNLOAD, the tape-unloading option: ON
If you omit the AUDITDUMP parameter, the default ON is used, and the audit trail
is dumped to tape using the AUDITDUMP default attributes listed above.
