Message Format for Inbound Data
For inbound data, as shown in Figure 5-2, the buffer returned to the application contains
the complete data message, starting with the Attention ID (AID) character, as it was
received from the client. Communications characters are stripped. A single buffer is
returned to the application.
AM3270 Mode
The Guardian TN3270 Server runs in AM3270 mode by default. The following file
system procedures are recognized by the TN32SERV/CRT protocol when it is operating
in AM3270 mode:
