Cause. The client sent input during option negotiation.
Effect. The input from the client is ignored.
Recovery. Informative message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. This message is a device-type reject reason code that the TN3270e server
sent to a client in response to a device-type request command. The client used the
CONNECT command to request a specific printer, but the device-name requested is
associated with a terminal.
Effect. The session could not be established with the client.
Recovery. Notify your system operator that the client is requesting support for a
printer that is a partner to some terminal.
Cause. This message is a device-type reject reason code that the TN3270e server
sent to a client in response to a device-type request command. The requested device-
name is already associated with another Telnet session.
Effect. The session could not be established with the client.
Recovery. The client should evaluate the cause of the duplicate session request and
establish a new session.

Note. The CONNECT command is only issued by a TN3270e client when it negotiates a
device type and asking to connect to a specific device name. In this case, the command is
requesting a corresponding window on the server that was defined using the following ADD
WINDOW command:
ADD WINDOW #window, { TERMINAL , | PRINTER , } LUNAME device-name
