Error Messages
Recovery. Advise your HP representative of the circumstances of the condition.

Cause. A file system error occurred when opening a new EMS collector process,
where err specifies the error.
Effect. The command did not execute and the EMS collector was not switched.
Recovery. Resolve the error condition as described in the Guardian Procedure Errors
and Messages Manual and then reenter the command.

Cause. A command with incorrect syntax was entered. The caret (^) points to the
token that was not recognized.
Effect. The command did not execute.
Recovery. Enter HELP and the command name to display an example of the correct
syntax and then reenter the command.

Cause. No trace file was specified when a trace was started.
Effect. The command did not execute.
Recovery. Reenter the command, making sure to specify a trace file according to the
correct command syntax.

Cause. An error occurred in allocating the trace segment, where err specifies the
error returned by the allocated segment.
Effect. The command did not execute.
