Option Negotiation
During TN3270e server option negotiation with TN3270e clients, the following rules
apply:
The BINARY and EOR options are implied.
During option negotiation, the client may send a WON’T TN3270E response. The
TN3270e server then negotiates traditional TN3270.
Terminals negotiate a null functions list; this is referred to as Basic TN3270E.
Printers support the following two functions: DATA-STREAM-CTL and
RESPONSES.
