SETMODE Function Procedures
The SETMODE function procedures are used to set specified terminal characteristics
for the ITI protocol. The function parameter can have the value of 8, 11, 12, or 20.
Uses for parameter-1 and parameter-2 vary, depending on the value of
function.

6 (set spring control) is not supported.
7 (set auto line feed) is not supported.
8 sets the transfer mode:
0 conversational mode (default).
1 block mode.
11 sets the ownership of BREAK:
0 disable BREAK (default).
1 enable BREAK.
0 normal mode: any type file access is permitted (default).
1 BREAK mode: only BREAK-type file access is permitted.
