External Connectors and Indicators
The external indicators consist of two status LEDs for the TRSA, and four status LEDs.
The two TRSA status LEDs, which are controlled by the Service Processor (SP),
indicate the state of the TRSA as follows:
Four LEDs indicate activity or the condition of the TRSA:
LED TRSA State
Green Power-on
Amber Fault condition
LED Indication when ON
16 Mbs Speed Indicator Data transfer rate is 16 Mbps (when OFF the transfer rate is
4Mbs.)
Ready The TRSA is ready for data transfer.
Activity Token-Ring activity exists.
Wire Fault Wire fault condition
