Program Overview (PGOVIEW)
•
The program’s share of all logical file I/O wait time and a graph of this share
•
Cumulative share of all logical file I/O wait time
This chart uses the GLOBINFO, PGMTOTAL, PROGSUM, and PROGLIO entities.
Parameters used are:
•
LID—specifies the Measure Load ID
•
EXCLUDE—specifies a value under which to exclude the number of requests per
second
•
SECTION—specifies the report section number
The chart is sorted in descending order of file busy time.
Program Overview (PGOVIEW)
This 80-column chart is a program overview table. For each unique program file name
(except OSIMAGE), it produces one set of data aggregated over all running copies of
the program, including:
•
Program file name
•
Total messages received per second (See the following note.)
•
Average receive queue milliseconds per message received
•
The following items, expressed as values per “message received” (if > 0) or per
second. (If per second, values are followed by a lowercase “s”).

CPU milliseconds consumed
°
Milliseconds spent waiting for a CPU
°
Milliseconds spent on the Memory Queue
°
Milliseconds spent waiting for logical I/O operations to all file types
