Performance Data Reports
Performance Data Reports
The reports the printer in wide format to accommodate the 132-character lines. Due to
space constraints in this manual, several of the sample reports have been truncated,
with the right columns of those reports displayed below their left columns.
The sample reports in this section are arranged in alphabetical order. Some charts in
this section had extra columns eliminated so they could fit in this format and be
readable.
If you request printouts of all the reports, your output displays a table of contents for
the reports.
Busiest Disc Files (Logical I/O Wait Time, Overall) (IOWOVER)
This 132-column report shows the busiest disk files on all volumes, in terms of total file
busy (wait) time. The report includes:
•
File system name and file name
•
Total number of opens
•
File’s file busy (wait) time as percentage of global total
•
Cumulative percentage of above
•
Average milliseconds per logical I/O
•
Flags for lock waits, timeouts or cancels, and escalations
•
Logical I/O counts (total and by type: read, write, and so on)
•
Number of messages sent per logical I/O
