Busiest Disc Files (Physical I/Os, by Volume)

Busiest Disc Files (Physical I/Os, by Volume) (PIOBVOL)
This 132-column report shows the busiest disk files on each volume, in terms of
physical I/Os (Measure driver calls minus cache hits). The report includes:
•
File name
•
Total number of opens
•
System I/Os as percentage of volume total
•
Physical I/Os as percentage of volume total
•
Total requests blocked (lock waits) [not rated]
For total, input, and output:
•
System I/Os per second
•
Physical I/Os per second (system I/Os minus cache hits)
•
Cache hit percentage
The report aggregates all opens of the same file into one report line. All counts are in
units per second.
This report uses the GLOBINFO, VSIOTOT, and DOPENSUM entities.
Parameters used are:
