Using the SPAM Performance Data Charts and
Reports

Disc Subsystem Activity (DSCREPT)
This 132-column report shows physical disk and disk cache activity. It includes:
•
Requests per second
•
Internal queue lengths and times
•
Percentage of requests that hit record or file locks
•
Cache activity per request
•
Primary disk process ID
•
Disk controller numbers
•
Disk busy times
•
Physical disk I/Os per request
This report uses the DGLOBAL, DISCINFO, and DISC entities.
Parameters used are:
•
LID—specifies the Measure Load ID
•
EXCLUDE—specifies a value under which to exclude the number of requests per
second
•
SECTION—specifies the report section number
The report is sorted by volume name and logical device number.
