Entity and Attribute Definitions
Tandem Performance Data Collector (TPDC) Manual—526357-001
A-2
DISCOPEN Measure-Derived DISCOPEN counters and linkages. The
DISCOPEN entity contains information about
which programs are accessing which files,
including program usage and process activity
(physical file access).
DISK
Measure-Derived Derived from the Measure DISC entity; contains
information about disk counters and linkages.
DISKFILE
Measure-Derived DISKFILE summary counters and linkages (D20).
DPENSUM
SPAM Contains aggregated DISCOPEN data for each
physical file found, including the sum of all physical
I/O counts by all openers of the file.
EXLINE
SPAM Contains each NETLINE found, including the sum
of selected counts for the line. (Lines going down
and up again can result in multiple NETLINE
entities for the same line.)
FILE
Measure-Derived FILE counters and linkages. The FILE entity
contains information about which user processes
are accessing which files, including program usage
and process activity (logical file access).
FILESUM
SPAM Contains each logical FILE record found, including
the sum of all logical I/O counts by all openers of
the file.
FLABNME
Data Collection An ASCII name entity that identifies subvolume
and file name of disk files.
GLOBINFO
SPAM Contains global data, including estimated free
memory pages, derived from memory manager
($VIRTUAL) PROCESS entities.
GNAME
Data Collection An ASCII name entity that identifies system
processes.
KCCB
Data Collection An HP NonStop Kernel-derived entity that identifies
the Kernel Common Control Block (KCCB) used by
the Monitor and the Memory Manager.
LABEL
Data Collection A disk directory entity that provides file label
information for files accessed during
measurement.
LDEV
Data Collection A NonStop Kernel-derived entity that provides
logical device information.
LDEVDST
Data Collection A NonStop Kernel-derived entity that provides
logical device distribution information.
LDEVNME
Data Collection An ASCII name entity that identifies logical
devices.
