Tandem Performance Data Collector (TPDC) Manual—526357-001

Running TPDC (Data Collection)
REPORTS
specifies that the listed system environment reports on the configuration of the
measured system be produced. There are several reports, some of which you can
also generate directly from the TPLM, TPLD, and TPDP components:
•
Device Distribution Report
•
Disk Report
•
File Label Report
•
Logical Device Report
•
Node Report
•
Process Pair Directory Report
•
System Generation Values Report
•
Volume Label Report (created only once a day in the default volume)
For detailed information on these reports, including which components can
generate them, see Section 4, Using the System Configuration Reports.
The next five options let you reduce the amount of data being measured:
NOFILE
specifies that the measurement of the Measure FILE entities be disabled.
NODISCOPEN
specifies that the measurement of the Measure DISCOPEN entities be disabled.
NOSQL
specifies that the measurement of the Measure SQLPROC and SQLSTMT entities
be disabled.
NODISKFILE
specifies that the measurement of the Measure DISKFILE, CONTROLLER, and
SERVERNET entities be disabled.
NOOSS
specifies that the measurement of the Measure OSSCPU and OSSNS entities be
disabled.
OSSJOURNAL
specifies that the OSS Journal Segment be built as part of the measurements and
that the OSS pathnames be collected.
