VALIDATE
indicates that the subvolume specified by the subvol option is a partial subvolume
name that you are using to limit the search of file labels.
subvol
specifies one to eight valid characters of a partial or full subvolume name. Label
information is collected only from subvolumes that begin with this subvolume
specification.
TPSFL Output Files
TPSFL produces these files containing the file label information that it extracts for all
disk files on the system:
You can then use any of HP’s query and language facilities to compile the information
into the report formats you want.
For the data definitions and descriptions of these files, see Appendix A, Entity and
Attribute Definitions.
FLABEL Contains basic file label information. There is one record for each Enscribe
file, SQL table, and SQL index. The only exceptions to this are that the EDIT
file (type 101), object files (type 100), and temporary files are not recorded.
ALTKFILE Contains file label information about alternate keys and keyfiles.
PARTFILE Contains file label information about partitioned files, to allow analysis of
partition files on a measured system. Partition files allow storage of large
amounts of data, up to 16 volumes for Enscribe files and 100 volumes for
SQL tables.
