OUT outfile
names the spooler collector or existing disk file to which your output is to be
directed. For a spooler collector (DEVICETYPE 0, SUBTYPE 31), level-3 spooling
will be used. For a disk file, it can be entry-sequenced or an EDIT file (type 101).
If you do not specify an outfile, all the output is directed to your terminal.
NOWAIT
returns control to your TACL now, rather than when the process completes.
yymmdd
specifies the date, in year, month, and day format, that the measurement was
started. TPLM checks the default volume for the measurement data.
hhmm
specifies the time, in hour and minute format, that the measurement was started.
TPLD checks the default volume for the measurement data.
REPORTS
specifies that these reports on the configuration of the measured system be
produced:
Device Distribution report
Disk report
Logical Device report
Node report
Process Pair Directory report
System Generation Values report
Entities
Twenty of the data collection entities are created from corresponding Measure entities
and are put in files of the same name. In most cases, there is a one-to-one relationship
between the Measure entity and the corresponding TPDC entity. The major exception
to this is the Measure DISC entity, which is projected into four data collection entities:
CACHE, DISK, LDISC, and PDISC.
Table 3-2 lists the TPDC Measure-derived entities. For an alphabetical list of all entities
with their attributes and attribute definitions, see Appendix A, Entity and Attribute
Definitions.
