Entities
Table 3-5 lists the Performance Data Charts available from SPAM in the order in which
they are generated.
GLOBINFO Contains global data, including estimated free memory pages, derived from
memory manager ($VIRTUAL) PROCESS entities.
PGMTOTAL Contains systemwide total processes, logical file, and discopen data.
PROGFILE Contains logical file data for programs, where a program is an aggregate of
all processes running from the same program code file.
PROGLIO Contains aggregated FILE data for each program, where a program is the
an aggregate of all processes running from the same program code file.
PROGRAM Contains PROCESS data for each program, where a program is the
aggregate of all processes running from the same program code file.
PROGSIO Contains DISCOPEN data for each program, where a program is the
aggregate of all processes running from the same program code file.
PROGSQL Contains SQLSTMT data for all SQL statements executed by all copies of
the program.
PROGSUM Contains aggregated summary data for programs, where a program is the
aggregate of all processes running from the same program code file.
SERVER Contains data on server processes.
SQLSUM Contains aggregated SQL statement data for each program name, run unit,
and statement index combination.
SQLTOTAL Contains TOTAL counts from SQLSTMT entities.
UNLINES Contains the sum of selected counts for the line. (You can maintain line
counts in separate LINE entities; for example, the read unit and the write
unit.)
VLDFTOT Contains total logical disk file I/Os and total logical file busy time for all
opens of disk files with the same system or volume prefix.
VSIOTOT Contains total of key DISCOPEN counters for all opens of all disk files with
the same volume name.
WORKLOAD Contains apportioned PROCESS data, aggregated over program file
name.
