DISTRIBUTION LIST
ATTRIBUTES Screen
The DISTRIBUTION LIST ATTRIBUTES screen can appear in either of two possible
forms. Which form you get depends on why you accessed the screen. You can get this
screen from the DISTRIBUTION LISTS screen by pressing F7 to add a list. You also
get this screen from the DISTRIBUTION LISTS screen by pressing F2 to show a
distribution list's attributes.
First Version of DISTRIBUTION LIST ATTRIBUTES screen
If you press F7 to add a list, you get the following form of the screen:

Correspondent:

Type: P D = Default
P = Private
C = Creator Controlled
V = Voluntary Signup

Screen-Specific Fields Input and display fields specific to the first version of the DISTRIBUTION LISTS
ATTRIBUTES screen are defined in the following paragraphs.
Correspondent
This input field initially displays the correspondent name that appeared in the
Correspondent field on the DISTRIBUTION LISTS screen. Only system or read-only
administrators can enter a different name in this field.
List Name
This input field specifies the name of the new list to be added. It initially displays the
name that appeared in the List Name field on the DISTRIBUTION LISTS screen, if any.
If you want to add a shared distribution list, that is, one belonging to a group, you
must specify the name in the List Name field in the form group name.list name.
Type
This input field specifies control attributes for the list. Possible values are D (default),
P (private), C (creator controlled), or V (voluntary). The default is D.
