VERIFY DELETION OF
DISTRIBUTION LIST
Screen
You get this screen from the DISTRIBUTION LISTS screen or the DISTRIBUTION LIST
ATTRIBUTES screen when you try to delete a distribution list that still contains
members. The purpose of this function is to give you a chance to cancel the delete
request and make inquiries before deciding conclusively to delete this list.
ADMIN Verify Deletion of Distribution List
Correspondent:
Distribution List:
You have requested that the distribution list named above be deleted. The
distribution list has one or more members in it. You may delete the
distribution list anyway, or cancel the delete function. Press the function
key for your choice:
F1 - Delete the list anyway, then return to the previous screen
F16 - Cancel the delete function, then return to the previous screen
F15 - Help
SF14 - Recover
SF16 - Cancel the delete function, then return to the Main Menu
Screen-Specific Fields This screen has no display or input fields. It uses functions keys only.
What Correspondents and
Read-Only Administrators
Can Do
As a correspondent or read-only administrator, you can perform the following:
Delete a distribution list that belongs to you or that you created for a nonrestrictive
interest group by pressing F1. You will return to the previous screen.
All members of the list are also deleted.
Get the Help screen for an explanation of either the VERIFY DELETION OF
DISTRIBUTION LIST screen or the ADMIN message currently displayed on the
advice line by pressing F15.
Cancel the deletion request and return to the previous screen by pressing F16.
Recover the VERIFY DELETION OF DISTRIBUTION LIST screen in its previous
state by pressing SF14.
Cancel the deletion request and return to the MAIN MENU by pressing SF16.
What Group Creators,
Group Administrators, and
System Administrators
Can Do
As a group creator or system administrator, you can perform the same functions as the
correspondents and read-only administrators. In addition, you can delete lists
belonging to groups whose profiles reserve management privileges for administrators.
As a system administrator, you can delete any distribution list.
