Example of Managing
Distribution Lists
In the following example, system administrator Susan Austin locates a distribution list
belonging to an interest group by executing a search against all the lists on her node.
She then changes an attribute of the list; and adds a foreign correspondent member.
1. Susan starts by pressing F1 at the MAIN MENU to get the DISTRIBUTION LISTS
screen.
The DISTRIBUTION LISTS screen appears with a list of all the distribution lists on the
system.

2. Susan cannot recall the exact name of the interest group or the list she wants to
modify, so she enters
MA*.*
as a search pattern in the List Name field and presses F1 to get a subset of lists that
conform to the pattern.
