FOLDERS Screen
Listing, Adding, and Deleting Folders

Recover the FOLDERS screen in its previous state by pressing SF14. This function
can be useful if, for example, the contents of the screen become garbled due to a
communication error. RECOVER brings the screen back.
Get the Help screen for an explanation of the FOLDERS screen or the message
currently displayed on the advice line by pressing F15.
Return to the MAIN MENU by pressing F16.
What Read-Only
Administrators Can Do
As a read-only administrator, you can perform the same functions as a correspondent.
In addition, you can enter the name of another correspondent in the Correspondent
field and represent the other correspondent in all functions on a read-only basis.
What Group Creators and
Group Administrators
Can Do
As a group creator or administrator, you can perform the same functions as a
correspondent. In addition, you can add folders for groups to which you belong that
restrict this function to group administrators, and you can delete folders for your
groups. To specify a group for which to perform a function, enter the group name and
folder name or search pattern on the Folder Name field in the form group
name . folder name .
Note ADMIN ignores any value in the Correspondent field when you enter a search request in the Folder Name
field with a prefix referencing a group, that is, when you enter your request in the form group name.folder
name.
What System
Administrators Can Do
As a system administrator, you can perform the same functions the correspondents
and other administrators can. In addition, you can perform these functions for folders
belonging to any correspondent or any group.
To reference a folder belonging to another correspondent, you can enter the
correspondent name in the Correspondent field, press F1, and locate the folder on the
displayed list. Alternatively, you can specify the correspondent's folder on the Folder
Name field using the form correspondent name.folder name .
