Correspondent/Group
This display field contains the name of the correspondent or group specified in the
Correspondent/Group field on the MAIN MENU. To view agents for another
correspondent or group, administrators and group creators can return to the MAIN
MENU and enter a different name in the Correspondent/Group field.
Agent Name
This display column lists the names of agents currently configured for the current
depot.
SCREEN COBOL?. This display-only column indicates whether the agent is written in
SCREEN COBOL or another application language. A Y (yes) value means the agent is
a SCREEN COBOL program. An N (no) indicates the agent is written in another
language, which means the agent's server class must be configured in the TRANSFER
PATHWAY system. See your system manager for details.
Session Needed?. This display column contains a Y (yes) when the agent requires a
session to be started before the agent can operate. An N (no) means no session is
required.
Selection Criteria. These display fields enable you to determine what value to use to
invoke an agent.
Application ID. This display column lists the IDs of the displayed agents. The
range of values for IDs is 0 through 9999, with 0 through 999 reserved for
applications supplied by Tandem. See your system manager for details.
Agent Select. This is a display-only column for the agent selection values that can
invoke an agent. The range of values is 0 through 9999. See your system manager
for details.
Agent Data. The agent data column displays the first few characters of data if fixed data
is sent to the agent. You can see the complete text by pressing F8 to get the
appropriate agent configuration screen.
New agent name. This is an input field for the name of an agent you want to add or
alter. It is a display field for the name of an agent you delete. The name can be up to
23 characters long.
What Correspondents
Can Do
As a correspondent, you can use this screen to display and delete agents assigned to
your depot. You can also view the agents of groups of which you are a member.
From this screen, you can move to other screens to add or modify agents.
What Read-Only
Administrators Can Do
As a read-only administrator, you can perform the same functions as correspondents.
In addition, you can view the agents configured for other correspondents and groups.
You cannot, however, add, delete, or alter the configurations of agents belonging to
other correspondents or groups.
