TRANSFER Agents

Application ID for Logon
This is an input field for the application ID to be used when a session is started for an
agent. The value must be between 0 and 9999.
Application IDs from . . .through. This is an input field for the range of application IDs that
can invoke this agent. The range of values for IDs must be between 0 and 9999;
however, IDs 0 through 999 are reserved for applications supplied by Tandem.
Currently assigned IDs are:
100 TRANSFER asynchronous requester
101 BASE TRANSFER
105 CLIENT SERVERS
110 ADMIN
112 PS MAIL TTY
113 PS MAIL 6530
114 PS MAIL 3270
500 Vacation agent

Agent Select Values from . . . through. This is an input field for the range of agent
selection values that can invoke this agent. The range of values must be 0 through
9999.
The agent you are configuring is invoked only if the application ID and agent selection
values in the message header are in the ranges specified on this screen.

Enter any data needed by the agent .. . . This is an input field for up to 78 characters of data
that can be sent to the agent. The agent can use the data for each message to be
processed.
What Correspondents
Can Do
As a correspondent, you can use this screen to add or modify agents assigned to your
depot. You can also view the profile of an agent assigned to a group to which you
belong.
What Read-Only
Administrators Can Do
As a read-only administrator, you can perform the same functions as correspondents.
In addition, you can view the agents configured for other correspondents and groups.
However, you cannot add, delete, or alter the configurations of agents belonging to
other correspondents or groups.
What Group Creators and
Administrators Can Do
As a group creator and administrator, you can perform the same functions as
correspondents. In addition, you can use this screen to add or modify agents for
interest group depots you administer.
What System
Administrators Can Do
As a system administrator, you can use this screen to add or modify agents for any
correspondent or interest group depot on the system.
