Correspondent/Group
This display field shows the name of the correspondent or group depot to which the
vacation agent is assigned.
Automatic Reply
This input field specifies whether ADMIN automatically replies to all incoming
messages. The default is N (no). Type Y ( for yes) to have a reply automatically sent.
Text for automatic reply and forward
You can optionally enter up to four lines of text for an automatic reply or a note to
accompany a forwarded message.
Automatically forward to
This optional input field specifies a forwarding address. Type the name of the
correspondent or interest group to whom incoming messages are to be forwarded
automatically.
Automatically file packages in
This optional input field specifies the name of a folder where incoming messages are
to be filed automatically. The folder must already exist and belong to the named
correspondent or interest group. Automatic filing deletes a message from the INBOX
folder.
Not filing, Automatic Delete
This optional input field specifies whether you want incoming messages deleted
automatically from the INBOX folder. The default for this field is N (no).
Application IDs from . . . through. These input fields specify the range of application IDs
that invoke the vacation agent. Application IDs that invoke an agent must be between
0 and 9999. The application IDs 100 through 999, reserved for applications supplied
by Tandem, are initially displayed.
Agent Select Values from . . . through. These input fields specify the range of agent select
values that invoke the vacation agent. The agent selection values that invoke an agent
must be between 0 and 9999.
The vacation agent is invoked only if the application ID and agent selection values in
the message header are in the ranges specified in the agent configuration. See your
system manager for details.
What Correspondents
Can Do
As a correspondent, you can use this screen to add or modify a vacation agent for your
depot, and you can view the vacation agents of groups to which you belong.
What Read-Only
Administrators Can Do
As a read-only administrator, you can perform the same functions as correspondents.
In addition, you can view vacation agents configured for other correspondents and
groups. However, you cannot add or alter vacation agents belonging to other
correspondents or groups.
