The LOGON Screen

The LOGON Screen You get the LOGON screen by running the ADMIN program from PATHCOM, as
described in the previous subsection. If you are accessing ADMIN from a TRANSFER
client or application, you can bypass the LOGON screen and go directly to the MAIN
MENU.
Use the LOGON screen to log on to ADMIN. The LOGON screen has two fields in
which you enter your correspondent name and password, as shown in the following
screen:

Screen-Specific Fields Input and display fields specific to the LOGON screen are Correspondent Name and
Password and are defined in the following paragraphs:
Correspondent Name
This is an input field for your correspondent name. Each ADMIN user, including the
system administrator, must log on using his or her own TRANSFER name. The name
must be entered exactly as it was registered on the CORRESPONDENT TRANSFER
PROFILE screen.
You must enter a fully qualified correspondent name if you are logging on to your
ADMIN system from a remote node. A fully qualified correspondent name includes
the node name, as follows:

Password
This is an input field for your password. As a security precaution, it does not appear
on the screen as you enter it. The password field is a case-sensitive field, meaning that
