INTEREST GROUP AFFILIATION Screen
Listing, Adding, and Deleting Groups

administrative privileges, GROUP ADMIN values for all the interest groups of which
a group is a member will be N.
Direct Member
This is a display-only column on the right-hand side of the screen that indicates
whether the correspondent or group name in the Member Name field is a direct
member of the corresponding, displayed group, or has nested membership. Possible
values are Y (yes) or N (no).
Y indicates that the current correspondent or group is a member of the listed group
appearing on the same line of the screen.
An N indicates that the current correspondent or group in the Member Name field is a
member of a group that belongs to the listed group appearing on the same line of the
screen. An N could also indicate membership of the current Member Name in a group
nested one or more levels below the listed group.
What Correspondents
Can Do
As a correspondent, you can display your own group affiliations and perform the
following functions:
With your correspondent name displayed in the Member Name field, get a list of
all the groups to which you belong by pressing F1.
With the name of a group to which you belong displayed in the Member Name
field, get a list of all the interest groups to which the group belongs by pressing F1.
Return to the first page of a multipage listing by pressing SF1.
Move between multiple pages of this screen by pressing the NEXT PAGE and
PREV PAGE keys.
Recover the INTEREST GROUP AFFILIATION screen in its previous state by
pressing SF14. This function can be useful if, for example, the becomes garbled
due to a communication error. RECOVER brings the screen back.
Get the Help screen for an explanation of the INTEREST GROUP AFFILIATION
screen or the message currently displayed on the advice line by pressing F15.
Return to the MAIN MENU by pressing F16 or SF16.
What Read-Only
Administrators Can Do
Read-only administrators can perform the same functions as correspondents. In
addition, they can display group affiliations for any correspondent by entering the
name in the Correspondent/Groups field on the MAIN MENU and then displaying
this screen.
What Group Administrators
and Group Creators Can Do
As a group administrator or group creator, you can perform the same functions as
correspondents. In addition, with your correspondent name displayed in the Member
Name field, you can get a list of all the groups for which you have group administrator
privileges by pressing F2.
