TRANSFER Errors (4000-6999)

Recovery. Reenter your password and try to log on again. Remember that uppercase
and lowercase letters are not interchangeable.
4017
Restricted operation.
Cause. The operation you requested can only be requested by TRANSFER internal
programs.
Effect. The operation is not performed.
Recovery. Try a different operation to accomplish your goal.
4019
INTERNAL ERROR: ALREADY IN SESSION. Report to Tandem Computers, Inc.
Cause. The TRANSFER application program failed to reset the session ID portion of
the interprocess communication header (ipc-hdr) before sending a START-SESSION
UOW.
Effect. The application cannot start a new session.
Recovery. This is an internal coding error. Have your system manager report the error
to the Tandem Online Support Center.
4021
Time zone error.
Cause. The requester and the server are on different network nodes whose local times
are more than 24 hours apart. The system time was set to an invalid value.
Effect. Your logon attempt fails.
Recovery. See your system manager.
4026
File name must be local.
Cause. You entered a GUARDIAN 90 file name that is prefixed by a system name.
Effect. TRANSFER can’t find the file.
Recovery. If you are entering a text editor or formatter program file name, TRANSFER
expects a fully qualified local GUARDIAN 90 file name in this format:
$<volume>.<subvolume>.<filename>
