TRANSFER Errors (4000-6999)

Error nnn opening DEPSTAT during restart check.
Cause. SPREP sent this error before stopping, to indicate that something is wrong with
the DEPSTAT file that SPREP was attempting to open. The error message can be
written to a log file or can be displayed on the terminal screen.
Effect. The requested function is not performed.
Recovery. The variable nnn represents the GUARDIAN 90 error number associated
with this problem. Report this number to your system manager. The manager will
have to correct the file error and run XCOOL again to set up SPREP correctly.

Error nnn renaming DEPSTAT during restart check.
Cause. SPREP sent this error before stopping, to indicate that an error occurred when
SPREP attempted to rename the DEPSTAT file to DEPSTATD after a stats
configuration change. The error message can be written to a log file or can be
displayed on the terminal screen.
Effect. The requested function is not performed.
Recovery. The variable nnn represents the GUARDIAN 90 error number associated
with this problem. Report this number to your system manager. The manager will
have to correct the file error and run XCOOL again to set up SPREP correctly.
