TRANSFER Errors (4000-6999)

Record already exists.
Cause. You tried to add records that have already been added to the TRANSFER
database.
Effect. The redundant records are not added.
Recovery. Add records not already stored.
4050
Update mismatch.
Cause. The record update control does not match. Either the programmer has
returned the wrong key, or someone has updated the record between the read request
and the update request.
Effect. Your update is not performed.
Recovery. Report this error to the system manager.
4051
Value must be Y or N.
Cause. You entered a value other than Y (yes) or N (no) in the indicated field.
Effect. The function is not executed.
Recovery. Enter either an uppercase or a lowercase Y or N; then request the function
again.
4052
Reserved flags must have value N.
Cause. This message reflects an internal Tandem coding error.
Effect. Your function is not performed.
Recovery. You should never see this error. If it appears, ask the system manager to
report the error to the Tandem Online Support Center

Invalid field value.
