TRANSFER Errors (4000-6999)

Recovery. Attempt to cancel only mail that you have created and sent.
4084
This mail has never been submitted for delivery.
Cause. You attempted to cancel delivery of a piece of mail that you filed in a folder but
never sent.
Effect. The message is not cancelled.
Recovery. Attempt to cancel only mail that you have created and sent.
4085
Data too long; item records are limited to 2000 bytes.
Cause. A TRANSFER application tried to add an item data record that was too long.
Effect. The requested function is not performed.
Recovery. This message reflects a TRANSFER application coding error. Report it to
the system manager.
4086
Data size adjusted to even number for word alignment.
Cause. A TRANSFER client was retrieving an item data record, and an extra byte was
returned.
Effect. Your function is performed as requested.
Recovery. No recovery necessary.
4087
Invalid maximum data size.
Cause. A TRANSFER client specified an invalid maximum data size while retrieving
package item data records.
Effect. The requested function is not performed.
Recovery. This message reflects a TRANSFER application coding error. Report it to
the system manager.
4089
Data truncated; stored data was longer than response buffer size specified.
Cause. The record received was longer than expected. This error usually occurs when
another mail application creates a message with lines of text that are longer than the
lengths expected by PS MAIL.
