TRANSFER Errors (4000-6999)

The package has been cancelled.
Cause. The cancellation of a message delivery that you requested was successful.
Effect. This is a notification only.
Recovery. Information only. No recovery is required.
4095
The package has expired.
Cause. A TRANSFER application acknowledged receipt of a package that had already
expired.
Effect. Your recipient did not look at the package.
Recovery. Information only.
4096
Problem with item descriptor file. See your system manager.
Cause. You tried to add an attachment of an invalid type.
Effect. The attachment was not added.
Recovery. Your system manager can give you the valid types of attachments.
4100
Ordering key truncated to fit in response buffer size specified.
Cause. An item was retrieved, but the corresponding ordering key was longer than the
buffer space allocated for the ordering key buffer. (This error occurs only in customer
applications that define their own folder-ordering criteria.)
Effect. The ordering key data was truncated.
Recovery. Modify the application to accommodate the ordering key.
4101
Ordering key size adjusted to even number for word alignment.
Cause. You specified an odd number for MAX-KEY-LEN. (This error occurs only in
customer applications that define their own folder-ordering criteria.)
Effect. If an odd number is specified, TRANSFER automatically increments this value
by one.
Recovery. You should specify an even number for this value so that all elements of the
returned array are word-aligned.
